About the farm…
Parkridge Petals was born out of my love for growing flowers and how they grow communities. We are centrally located in the heart of the historic neighborhood of Parkridge in Knoxville, TN. As an urban flower farm, our mission is to bring joy to others through flowers and grow them responsibly with regenerative farming practices. We specialize in native, heirloom, and specialty cut flowers that can be enjoyed in your home. Thank you for visiting us and we hope you stop by the farm to say hello and soak in the flowers.
About me…
Hello, I am Kristine Moody, the owner, operator, designer, and sales person of this one woman show. By day I am a conservation geneticist but every other hour of the day I surround myself with dirt, mulch, and flowers. As a trained scientist, I became interested in dahlia breeding because they have crazy genomes giving rise to all the lovely cultivars we see grown today. But more than that, I find growing flowers to be restorative and good for the soul. I love sharing the joy of flowers with others and teaching folks how to be successful in growing flowers of their own. I am the current President of the Knoxville Dahlia Society where I get to do just that. I also have the two most precious farm helpers, my two Newfie girls - Maheli and Leilani.
