KA’s® Cinder Rose

Description:
A unique introduction from Santa Cruz Dahlias last year that produced tons of lovely blooms. She varies from light pink to buff to more light yellow. In the South yellow generally dominates colors when grown in full sun, so I grew half of the plants in full sun and half under 30% shade cloth. Interestingly the ones in full sun were the most wonderful pink color whereas the ones under the shade cloth were more buff and yellow. Totally opposite of what I expected! This is a great wedding flower and tucks in very nicely to bouquets.
